Subclass 600

Types of Visitor Visas

To apply for the Electronic Travel Authority (Subclass 601), you must hold a valid passport from one of the following countries:

Tourist Stream (Apply Outside Australia)

This visa allows individuals to visit Australia as tourists, to go on a cruise, or to visit family and friends. It is not suitable for business or medical purposes.

This visa is for those already in Australia, enabling them to visit family or friends, travel as tourists, or take a cruise. It excludes business or medical purposes.

  • Depart Australia with your group before the visa expires.

The Frequent Traveller stream of the Visitor visa (subclass 600) is designed for citizens from the People’s Republic of China, Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam who frequently visit Australia for tourism or business activities. This visa allows you to travel to Australia as often as you like within the visa’s validity, with specific conditions on your stay duration.
